The Water Pants were inspired by my dog swimming in the water. The pants are made up of three rectangles pleated at the waist and gathered at the bottom of the pant legs. It was just a stripe fabric but I tucked it like the movement of the water ripples getting bigger and bigger. It changed the whole fabric. I also hand stitched the top waste band.

The Color Weaving is about how using contrasting colors can trick the viewer’s eye. I also used wool yarns different sizes to change the pattern. The background was one of my landscape stripes to really make the viewer move around the piece. The size of the piece is 4 yards and 20inches in width.

This garment was part of a collection for villains. The Last Laugh was a garment based on a World War II nurse’s uniform. The size of the garment is a size 6-wolf form. The material is a blue cotton fabric. I also used a contrasting color thread that references the medical stitches.

Not to Bee was created as part of my villain’s collection. The Not to Bee is based on a killer bee and its spikes. The garment color is all black and I used three different kinds of fabrics: the middle part in front and back is made of an Astroturf rug, the side panels are made out of the stretchy woven fabric and the spikes are made out a loose weave fabric. It is fitted to the size 6-wolf form. It was meant to make the person viewing it and even wearing it feel powerful.

These Landscape fabrics are part of a two-piece collection. They have been can printed. They are inspired by landscapes from the The Hobbit movies that take place in the Lonely Mountain and Mirkwood. I pulled the colors from these two different landscapes featured in the movies and abstracted them in different thickness stripes. The size is 3 yards and 47in wide on canvas.

A hotel in New Hampshire called The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel inspired me to create this stripe. It was based on a winter scene that I remember vividly from my childhood because it was my favorite time of the year when I visited the Balsams with my family. I can printed on white bleach muslin. The size is 47 x 3 yards.
